Here are Mom and Dad, Marion and Nick Schaps in early 1995. Dad passed away rather suddenly in December 1995, and Mom continues to live in Green Valley, Arizona, except in the summer and holidays, when she comes to Minnesota. I made them the sweatshirts they are wearing for Christmas 1994. Mom now has 14 grandchildren and 5 great-grandkids!



This photo was taken in early November 1995, as Dad was getting very ill. He died a month and a half later. At least he got to see all his friends at this party in Green Valley before he left for Minnesota and got diagnosed.
